Adam Shoda, President

Adam is in his 20th year of teaching for Washoe County School District. He currently teaches engineering at Incline HS.

Frank Messina, President-Elect

With over 21 years in education in Nevada, Frank began teaching high school Biology and transitioned to CTE in the last decade instructing students in Forensic Science. Last May, after 20 years as a classroom teacher, he started a new path to his career as an administrator with the Clark County School District in Career and Technical Education. In his position he oversees the areas of Health Science and Public Safety, Education, Hospitality and Tourism, and Military Science. Frank has been the NACTE VP of Health and Public Safety and a Region V Fellow.

Amy Dockter-Rozar, Past President

Amy began her career in education in 1993, teaching middle school in Arizona and Nevada. She became an administrator in the Clark County School District in 2001 and since 2013 has been the principal of West Career and Technical Academy, a National Blue Ribbon School and Magnet Schools of America School of Distinction. She holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Diversity, a Master's degree in Educational Administration and is working toward an Executive Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She the President of the Nevada Governor’s Commission on Professional Standards in Education.

Tina Statucki, Executive Director

Tina has been an educator in Nevada for over 27 years. She began her career in education as a high school English teacher, and then became a school administrator and building principal of a career and technical academy in Las Vegas. She was recognized by the Nevada Association of Career and Technical Education (NACTE) as Administrator of the Year and received NACTE’s Lifetime Achievement Award. She now works as an Educator Programs Professional for Nevada’s Department of Education’s Office of Educator Development, Licensure, and Family Engagement (EDLiFE) focusing on educator effectiveness and the Nevada Educator Performance Framework.
